An interesting idea...
I really get kind of dubious when anybody claims that they know anything about the brain... but here is an interesting article:

I think that fMRI is probably one of the most interesting ways of trying to pin down functions within the brain, but its still seems so early and baseline at times. I really hope that people don't ever feel like they need to perform an exorcism on the "Ghost in the Machine" as DeCartes put it. I like the idea that there are some things we just don't understand about why we work like we work is a good thing. Then again, being able to effectively aid people who's brain chemistry is out of whack or who have suffered brain damage seems like a pretty damn useful thing too.
