Whiny freaking... grrr...
So I was reading an article on CBC.com about spending during the 1995 referendum here in Quebec and it was talking about a report that claimed the Federalist/Non side spent 539k more than it was supposed to. (article: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/montreal/story/2007/05/29/referendum-report-070529.html )Which is all kinds of silly, since both sides spent WAY more than they were supposed to to the tune of 11 million when the cap was supposed to be 5 million. Technically since it was before the polling period it was as illegal as all that... but really just semantics here.

So more or less what the Separatists are whining about is the fact that the Federal (which represents the entire country) government is richer and more capable of bringing that money to a pissing contest than the PQ (which doesn't even represent all of Quebec). And they are talking about how this report could be used to bring down the provincial Liberals... who were not involved in the supposed scandal. Such stupid saber rattling, mud-slinging polictical bullshit.
